Beds were very comfortable and now that our daughter lives at Dalhousie very convient for us. Great continental breakfast. Very impressed.
The only area of concern I had was I had to find someone to provide us with fresh face clothes and handtowels. Bath towels we reuse. And I had to empty my own garbages. .The lady at the desk was very accomodating but this ended up taking her away for her job and leaving front desk area vacant.
Clean comfortable rooms.
I had a lot of trouble with my swipe card to get in my room. The front desk person was very helpful. No big deal, maybe the card reader is just worn out.
I liked that there were coffee makers in the room. I also really liked the kitchenette. If I ever plan to stay in Dartmouth more than a night I would stay here for sure :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. The noon check out was perfct as I had run a race that morning and wanted to shower afterwards. The internet worked great and it was nice not to have to ask for a password to get logged on. It was my firsy time staying here and I will return.
A friendly hotel centrally located for my needs (Dartmouth and Halifax). Clean and equipped with what I needed - television, free WiFi., Comfortable bed, room complete with necessities. Reasonable price for what I would consider a three star hotel.
Breakfast was a bit limited, even for a continental breakfast, and I had to search for someone several times to replenish elements that had run short. The breakfast composition and layout could be improved. No problems with the room itself and staff was very helpful. This is not a luxury Inn, but lived up to its price as a fine, clean, no-frills place to stay.
Central location reasonable price clean rooms excellent breakfast
Convenient to to ferry and other places we visited . Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, however there was musty, smoking smell in the hallways
Room was spacious, bed was comfortable (pillows were not--they were very lumpy). Glad to have fridge and coffee available. Tv was nice as well.
Some smell of smoke (many people smoking outside in parking lot) and smoke smell coming from open room windows. There was some smell in the hallway, elevator, etc.
we were there for one night and the staff was helpful directing us to activities in the area. The room was large and spacious. enjoyed the say though short.
price, breakfast, gym facility, kitchen
Could upgrade the flooring.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. We couldn't figure out how to use our air conditioner and Heather at the desk came right up and helped us immediately. The breakfast was included in the price and plenty to choose from for us. The room was good, a little old fashioned, but we loved having a refrigerator. It was comfortable, just not modernized, but we would stay there again. The mattresses looked fairly new as well.
I guess my first impression when driving up was, I hope this is ok here. We were unsure of the area and the building looked older. But it turned out great. I felt good knowing a tour bus was bringing people in that night, too - that a tour company was using the hotel.
the beds being in a separate room and having 2 t.v.'s with 3 kids was a success! also the kitchenette was a great thing to have.
a pool would have been nice!
It was close to the Burnside industrial park
Nice little gym
Quite old decor and busy road nearby
there was a strong smell of smoke when we got of the elevator on floor2
i like the bed. very comfortable.
it was nice that we have a kitchen.
